The food was very flavorful! It's very affordable compared to many other bbq places I have visited. The waiter had only been there 3 days but he did not disappoint! Lots of seating and a room for larger groups. I'll be back for sure.

Really good burnt ends and ribs along with probably the best arc and cheese that I've had at a bbq spot. The fries were nice and crispy and the bbq wontons were to die for but do wish it had more sauce on the side for dipping. Solid drinks, good service and well lit. Was a good spot!

Three of us ate here for the first time. I had the Burnt and Blue salad with extra burnt ends. it was delicious! the menu described the salad, but did not indicate it came with French fried onion straws. Definitely not your diet salad but so good. My friend kept raving about his Notorious Pig Sandwich--pulled pork, smoked sausage, mac and cheese plus onion straws, so we ordered one to go to deliver to a friend. The other person in our party ordered the burnt end dinner and had baked beans as well as cheesy corn for their sides. Seems like lots of restaurants do cheesy corn around here. This was one of the best versions that I have tasted. Had a light crumb coating on top. I'm happy to report that the beans were delicious too. Not too long ago I ate a barbecue restaurant that had pretty ordinary beans and I thought just why.?!? Here they are "Bourbon baked beans" and they don't disappoint.

Visiting Kansas again and this place was great! It would have 5 stars but it felt a little "chainy" feeling. The BBQ was tasty!! Lots to choose from and lots of sides! I chose to 2 types of corn this go round. Burnt ends and Brisket. The ends were super good and the Brisket just ok. Other items at the table included the Chicken was yummy, turkey that tasted a little lunch meatish but still good. The street corn and cheesy baked corn were top notch for comfort food! Service was phenomenal and friendly! Cocktails were surprisingly bougie and very well made. I didn't regret that being our choice for BBQ this go round to Kansas! Would recommend for the family!

My first experience with Blind Box BBQ exceeded my expectations. We went for lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant was moderately busy. We were seated promptly. For the starter, we selected the bbq wontons. These are next level. So so good! 100% order this! You will not regret it. Top tier starter/appetizer. I ordered the Notorious P.I.G. with bourbon baked beans. The sandwich is really tall with a heaping pile of onion straws on top. I was trying to figure out how to best tackle it and decided to press down from the top bun. This was a very flavorful and filling sandwich. The side of bourbon baked beans may be my favorite baked beans that I've had. Service was friendly and prompt. Blind Box is a bit of a drive for me, but I'm glad I finally made it over to give it a try. I will definitely plan on returning and highly recommend!

Wow- came here for restaurant week in February and was blown away. Some BBQ places have good meat, but not great sides. Blind Box has it all- Mac and cheese, beans, coleslaw, and the meaaaaats. We did have to wait for a bit since it was busy during restaurant week, but once we were seated service was prompt. The only downside was that they brought my husband's meal out late. There are booths, high top tables and larger tables. It has a sports bar type environment with TVs and is casual. Blind Box refers to what is submitted to judges at BBQ competitions- boxes are numbered and "blind" so that judges don't know the name of the BBQ team whose meat or sides they're sampling.

If you're craving mouthwatering BBQ, Blind Box BBQ is a must-try! Their onion straws are next level, surpassing fries any day. The Mexican street corn is a flavor explosion! And don't even get me started on their ribs - hot, juicy, and fall-off-the-bone perfection. But the real showstopper? The heavenly bread pudding, the most delicious l've ever tasted!

A solid BBQ spot for the Shawnee area. I met up with family and our larger group started out with an order of the wontons and nachos. Both were solid and featured the barbecue flavors we were hoping for - the nachos especially were loaded with protein and assorted toppings. I chose the chicken sandwich and sweet potatoes fries for my meal. I have no complaints with the chicken - it was moist and seasoned well, I didn't feel the need to coat it in more sauce. I did feel my fries were a little overcooked for my taste, but not unbearably so. Service was friendly and very quick. On a Sunday night, the restaurant was quiet and a great place to meet and catch up with family.
